ICEDUALL 6th

Taipei, 14 February 2025

Held at the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office (KDEI) in Taipei, Taiwan, ICEDUALL Series 6, a reputable international conference focusing on quality and equitable education for all, carried the theme:
“Reimagining Education in the Age of AI: Innovations, Impacts, and Implications.”

This theme is highly significant in the context of providing quality and equitable education in the AI era, which demands innovation, impact, and relevance for holistic education, particularly in developing competencies necessary for social life. The theme resonates deeply because the essence of education is not merely to impart knowledge, but to nurture maturity and independence in learners. Education is meant to dignify life itself, making quality and equitable education essential as the glue that binds education with efforts to advance global civilization. This key message was conveyed by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education of Indonesia, Prof. Abdul Mukti.

ICEDUALL 6 was officially opened by Mr. Zulmartino, Deputy Representative of the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei. The event was also attended by Mr. Novrizal, Director of Citizens’ Protection and Sociocultural Affairs at KDEI Taipei. Other attendees included the Rector of Unmuh Sampit, Central Kalimantan, Mr. Ramadhan and his team, the Vice Rector for Cooperation of Unmuh Malang, the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at UMM Malang, representatives from Unmuh OKU Timur, Unmuh Kupang, and delegations from FKIP UMS Surakarta.

In his remarks, Mr. Zulmartino, representing the Head of KDEI, expressed his appreciation for the ICEDUALL initiative organized by ALPTK PTMA as part of efforts to bridge the fundamental purpose of education with real-world educational needs, especially for the families of Indonesian migrants in various countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and migrant families worldwide.

  • ICEDUALL 5 in UMMAT Lombok, Indonesia,
with plans for ICEDUALL 7 in Papua and ICEDUALL 8 in Beijing or Turkey.

ICEDUALL 6 attracted over 96 presenters from various countries and universities worldwide.
